What are the values of the Suava brand?

• RESPONSIBILITY that matters. We create conscious and sustainable fashion, we sew locally but we think about fashion broadly and holistically.

Sustainable production

• We sew locally, 100% in Poland. The knowledge and experience of our constructor and dressmakers helps us reduce the footprint left on our Planet already at the stage of design and sewing.
• We carefully plan our production, we don’t produce excessive quantities and we use the remains of the fabrics to create our accessories.
• We carefully select fabrics. We carefully select fabrics. We try to make sure that all our fabrics have the appropriate certificates, , i.e. OEKO-TEX -it ensures that the product does not contain chemicals harmful to your skin and the environment; LENZING -guarantees a 100% biodegradability of the fabric, much lower CO2 emissions, lower water consumption than in traditional production, and that the fibers are made of wood from responsibly managed forests; AZO FREE- which means that no nitrogen dyes or substances harmful to the skin were used when dying the fabric.
• Packaging and all accessories are made of paper and ecological materials. We also focused on a great design of our packaging so that it would be difficult for you to throw it away and so that they could be reused, for example for storing your trinkets.
• We turn labels into a bouquet of flowers for you. This is how we want to thank you for choosing Suava. Yes, that’s right- you can plant our seed label and wait for it to transform into beautiful flowers for you.

Fabrics:

Tencel (Lyocell)* – is a natural fiber produced from wood cellulose. For the production of tencel, a non-toxic solvent is used, which is completely safe for both people and the environment. What we can’t forget is that it is 100% biodegradable!
This fabric has unique properties:

• It allows our skin to breathe, it’s hygienic, does not contain chemical substances, does not irritate the skin in any way.
• It’s comfortable and elegant (slightly shiny) and a very skin-friendly finish gives you the comfort you deserve.
• It is very durable. If you take proper care of it, it will stay with you for a long time.
• It’s easy to iron. However, remember to always iron tencel inside out. This way you will avoid shiny marks after ironing.
